RON Services undertook the statutory testing (LOLER), inspection and improvement work to the 120ft flagpole at Bannockburn Visitor Centre.
Our in-house team of qualified experts inspected and removed any signs of corrosion to the flagpole and tested all wires, anchor points and ropes. Our team then painted the complete flagpole utilising specialist paint to ensure corrosion is minimised. Finally, a report was provided to the client detailing all improvement works undertaken with embedded photos as evidence.
The client was delighted with the performance of RON Services and so were the tourists who turned up to admire our high-level works.
RON Services projects team undertook the complete refurbishment and fit-out works on behalf of the Scottish Natural Heritage at the Scottish Rural College in Cupar. The former nursery was to be transformed in 8 weeks into a modern open plan office.
The project involved major structural works and the installation of new data cabling, fire alarm, heating system, LED lighting, kitchen, toilets, flooring, doors etc.
Undertaking the full works in-house, the project involved the following trades including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing, joinery, plastering, painting and decoration. In addition, our in-house team install CAT 6 data cabling and replaced the old boiler with a new energy efficient system.

RON Services maintenance team undertook emergency repair works to Donaldson Timber Engineering in Methil.
Donaldson Timber Engineering was experiencing water ingress which placed a significant risk to their production facility. To add to the challenge, the roof was asbestos and very fragile.
RON Services quickly mobilised the team and provided a solution approved by their consultant Savills. A full method statement and risk assessment was provided as well as site inductions.
Our roofing team repaired the roof preventing any water ingress and allowed continuity of the client’s business. We installed new concrete sheeting and utilised thermoplastic membranes to ensure protection. In addition, some additional repairs were completed to prevent further risk.
The client was delighted with the project from start to finish as it prevented major business disruption. We continued to receive more works from the client and the consultant.
